Architects and Designers

    OPPENHEIM Architecture + Design, an architecture, interior design, and planning firm based in Miami with an office in Basel, Switzerland. The architecture of Chad Oppenheim is simultaneously daring and sensible, romantic and reductive; evocative and essential. Projects spanning 25 countries are crafted to establish the perfect balance between artistry and economics - a timeless architecture that is as beautiful as it is functional.     Chad Oppenheim

    Chad is a graduate of Cornell University, with over 60 career distinctions, including over 40 AIA Awards. His work is based on both a physical and spiritual contextual sensitivity, supported by evocative and economic design solutions.


    Three skillful architects with a shared design philosophy and business vision formed CORE Architects Inc. in 1994. The founding partners brought a wealth of knowledge and experience in all scales of projects, as well as an understanding of business and of client's priorities. The firm's humble beginnings designing small house additions quickly grew to creating stunning multi-million dollar projects worldwide.

    Deni Poletti

    As a founding partner of CORE, Deni’s commitment to excellence has played a leading role in establishing the office’s high standards of architectural design and on-time, cost-effective project delivery. Deni has been an invited participant in competitions for such projects as Public Squares sponsored by the City of St. Louis and Porsche for the design of a U.S. East Coast Regional Headquarters in Atlanta. Deni has been a speaker at the American Planning Association conference in Chicago, Urban Planning Conference in Washington, D.C., and other Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) and American Institute of Architects (AIA) chapter conferences.


    More than just a furniture showroom, the Nienkamper Furniture showroom at King East was one of the only places in the city where you could see what the rest of the world was crafting. Nienkamper's reputation grew, and the company provided office furniture for Pierre Elliott Trudeau in 1976 AND the Canadian embassy in Washington in 1989. KLAUS was honoured by the Design Exchange in 1998, and the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in 1999.

    Klaus Nienkamper

    Klaus gained experience from an early age working in various areas of the manufacturing facility for the family business and eventually entering into sales. In 2001 Klaus opened the eponymous design store on King Street East, blending great designs from the past and today for a look that is classic and always current. The store quickly became known for its distinctive product selection and presentation. KLAUS is Toronto’s exclusive retailer for residential furniture and accessories for many top European furniture brands from Tom Dixon to Moooi.


    Scavolini has been producing kitchens for over 50 years. Vast experience built up over time, responding to the tastes and trends of almost three generations of consumers. From a small workshop the company has grown to major industrial status, pursuing its growth aims through all the necessary stages with toughness and determination with absolute respect for the public at large, and in harmony with the needs of its surrounding area. Scavolini has been Italy's leading kitchen brand since 1984.

    Horia Gruia

    His group of companies dealt with industrial equipment in the oil, gas, mining and construction industries. During that time, his desire to pursue his passion for interior design led him to establish SCAVOLINI in Toronto. Constantly driven to be the best of the best, Horia is the largest importer of Italian kitchens in North America and the 2nd largest volume SCAVOLINI dealer in the world. With over 1,300 dealers worldwide, being in the top position requires great initiative and daring business acumen in this highly competitive industry.


    A Canadian residential developer and real estate investment firm with a focus on master planned condominium projects in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON.     Carlos Rosso

    Throughout his career, Carlos has developed more than 40 properties with over 10,000 units. He brings his depth of experience in construction, project financing, land acquisition and sales and marketing to the Condo Development Division. He has been a key force behind many of the iconic condo towers that have transformed South Florida’s skyline.

    Jay P. Parker

    Jay is a man of many talents. He owns Clear Title Group, LLC (a boutique real estate title insurance company in Miami, Florida). He is a managing partner of Titan Capital Florida (a Direct Lender with offices in New York, Connecticut, and Miami). He is a partner at Parker and Beloff, LLP (one of the largest and most successful real estate law firms in Miami Beach).

    Greybrook Realty Partners has partnered on an equity basis with some of the largest residential developers in Ontario such as Tribute Communities, Fernbrook Homes, Cityzen Development Group, Plazacorp, Castlepoint, Empire Communities, Andrin Homes, Tiffany Park Homes, and Stafford Homes. With a focus on both hi rise condominiums and single family developments, Greybrook, in cooperation with our development partners, have completed 49 residential developments totaling over 13,500 units with an aggregate value upon completion approaching $4 billion.

    Peter Politis

    Mr. Politis is a Partner at Greybrook Capital and the President and CEO of Greybrook Realty Partners where he is directly responsible for management of the firm’s Real Estate Private Equity division. He is involved in all aspects of the firm’s investing activities and transaction execution. Mr. Politis focuses his attention on the strategic direction of Greybrook Realty Partners and Greybrook Capital. He joined Greybrook as a Vice President in the firm’s investment banking group over 10 years ago, and has since been involved in the management and acquisition of numerous private equity real estate developments, Reverse Take Overs of publicly listed entities, as well as debt and equity financings for operating businesses within the Greybrook group of companies. Additionally, he was involved in providing corporate advisory services to Greybrook portfolio companies including BrandProtect, Occulogix Inc. and TearLab Corporation (NASDAQ: TEAR; TSX: TLB.TO). Mr. Politis currently serves on the Board of Directors of Greybrook Capital, and Greybrook Realty Partners. In addition, he serves as the President of the General Partner of various Greybrook development based limited partnerships representing nearly $4 Billion of aggregate completion value.
